Instead of pretending every student will practice perfectly all summer, this tracker expects a few missed days… and embraces them!
When students skip a practice day, they cross off one ridiculous excuse on the BINGO! UH OH board. The excuse does not need to be true. In fact, it is better if it is not.
Maybe their fingers turned into tiny raisins.
Maybe a popsicle emergency required both hands.
Maybe the piano couldn’t fit in the road trip car.
The goal is simple: return to lessons without four crossed-off boxes in a row.
No vertical BINGO.
No horizontal BINGO.
No diagonal BINGO.
Because in this game, BINGO means… uh oh.

When students miss a practice day, they cross off one silly excuse on the board. The excuse does not need to match the real reason they skipped. They can choose any square they like. As summer continues, missed practice days mean more crossed-off excuses.
But here is the twist: students are trying to avoid BINGO. If they return to lessons without four crossed-off boxes in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line, they win.
And if they do get BINGO? Well… BINGO! UH OH.
