As method books vary widely in terms of skill development and sequencing, the most effective way to transfer a student is to discover which skills your student has not yet fully mastered and begin in the corresponding WunderKeys method book. There will likely always be some overlap – if in doubt, level down.
How to use it:
Take stock of your student’s current skill set. Make note of which skills are very comfortable for your student and which skills need reinforcement. When deciding which WunderKeys book to use, err on the side of choosing to reinforce skills as the WunderKeys layout and approach are different than other methods and typically won’t feel like a noticeable “step backward”.
