Some students will be extremely excited to get these little activities. And these excited students will likely be your early primer crowd.
Young kids love to get messages “out of the blue” from their teachers and will eagerly complete any task or activity you ask of them.
In today’s post, we’re sharing a set of pre-reading summer piano clip cards that can be emailed to your youngest students so they can reinforce their understanding of finger numbers or, you can send them home as a “welcome gift” with your brand new students you may be starting!
Primer Piano Pre-Reading Music And Games
Today’s pre-reading clip cards (available below) are designed to be used alongside our early primer book, Chillin’ On The Black Keys.
While the game cards can easily be used as a standalone activity, your early primer piano students will be over the moon when you combine these resources for an awesome lesson experience.
Chillin’ On The Black Keys is a pre-reading resource that is leveled for early primer piano students. Children using this book will gain confidence using finger numbers to play quarter, half, and whole notes on black keys.
