What You’ll Need:

To get started, gather the following materials (available at the bottom of the post):

  • The Jolly Roger Draw-It Note Reading activity sheet
  • The Jolly Roger note reading cards
  • Pencil crayons

How to Play:

This activity is simple to set up and play:

  1. Shuffle the Cards: Mix up the deck to keep things exciting.
  2. Draw and Name the Note: Take the top card and name the note on the back.
  3. Locate the Note: Find the note name on the activity page that matches the note from Step 2.
  4. Follow the Drawing Instructions: Complete the drawing instructions next to the note name.
  5. Repeat: Continue steps 2 to 4 fourteen more times.
  6. Color Your Picture: Add some color to your goofy island pirate picture and share it with your teacher.
