How To: Roll-A-Task Christmas Recital Prep
If you’ve ever tried to keep a piano student on track for a Christmas recital, you know it’s like juggling candy canes on an ice rink. Thankfully, today’s resource brings some holiday cheer into practice sessions with a twist of surprise and a sprinkle of motivation. Think of it as a mini advent calendar… but with piano practice instead of chocolates.
Instructions: At the end of their practice session, your student will roll a die. Once they see the number they rolled, they’ll find the matching image on the activity sheet. Next, they’ll choose one task from the row of activities next to that image. After completing the task, they’ll color in the activity box with a pencil crayon. This daily routine continues until every box on the page is filled with color.
