Piano Photo Props To Make Kids Smile When They Finish A Book

The completion of a piano book is an event that needs to be celebrated. Just like graduation, it represents a lot of hard work, a conquering of obstacles, and a transition to a new adventure.

If piano teachers want to keep kids coming back to lessons, it is important that we take the time to acknowledge their achievements and to celebrate all that it takes to become a musician.

A simple, meaningful celebration that shares your students’ accomplishments with their parents and friends is the best way to recognize hard work in your studio.

In today’s post, we’re sharing Piano Studio Photo Props that you can use to make your students feel extra special the next time they check off the final piano piece in a book.

Piano Photo Props For Book Finishers

We love sharing photo props for piano teachers. It seems like every day in the WunderKeys Facebook Group we see pictures of smiling piano students who are celebrating an achievement with a photo prop.

Photo props are congratulatory signs that teachers print off and put in photo frames (although the frame is not necessary). Then, when a student achieves something wonderful, the teacher gives them the prop to hold, snaps a picture, and shares the successful shot on social media (with parental permission, of course).

On Facebook, you’ve probably seen pictures of smiling piano students holding signs that say, “Today I was a sight-reading superstar!” or “Memorized my piece… Yippeeee!” Those are photo props.

Today’s photo props, designed to celebrate WunderKeys students who have finished a book, come with a little twist… they come in sets of two.

Here’s how they work:

Imagine your student completes WunderKeys Primer Piano Book One (available here on Amazon). First, you find the Primer Book 1 Photo Props from the package below. Next, you take a photo of your student holding the first photo prop that says, “Guess who finished a book today?” Then you take a second photo of your student holding the second photo prop that says, “This guy!” or “This girl!” Finally, after asking for parental permission, you upload the two photos which then show up side-by-side to your social media pages (on Facebook you’ll see both photos side-by-side, on Instagram, users can swipe left). It’s an eye-catching way to grab attention on social media and is guaranteed to make your followers smile 🙂

If this sounds like a ton of fun, click on the button after the image to download today’s photo prop printables from the Members Only Printables section of the Growing With WunderKeys Toolkit. We have included photo props for WunderKeys Preschool, Primer and Level 1 books in the package. Remember to enter the password found in the email you received today.
