Oh, the holidays. Is there anything more magical for our littlest piano students? Mention Santa, workshop elves, or Christmas morning and suddenly you’ve got wide eyes, big smiles, and enough excitement to power the North Pole.
And while the season brings all kinds of festive fun, we still have a few early-primer skills to keep working on – including one of the biggest beginner challenges of all… finger numbers!
So let’s make it easier and way more fun.
Today we’re sharing Jingle Tracks, a brand-new Christmas finger number board game for your early-primer students. Inside Santa’s busy workshop, little learners will build rock-solid finger-number confidence without even realizing it.
It’s playful, it’s festive, and it fits beautifully into December lessons. 🎄✨

Quick Guide: How to Race with Jingle Tracks! 🚂
Get ready for a fast-paced, festive race inside Santa’s workshop! Jingle Tracks is a high-energy game designed to make learning finger numbers automatic and fun.
The Mission: Be the first player to cover all nine finger numbers on your game board using your markers (coins).
What You’ll Do:
- Flip and Cover: On the word “Go!”, you will start flipping over your cards. For every card you flip, quickly call out the finger number and place a coin on the corresponding finger number name on your game board.
- Keep it Moving: If you flip a number you’ve already covered, no problem! Just set that card aside and flip the next one immediately. This race is all about speed!
- The Switch! Twist: Watch out for the “Switch!” cards! If you flip one of these, you must loudly yell “Switch!” Both players immediately leap up, swap places (and game boards!), and keep playing where they left off.
- Victory Lap: The first player to successfully cover all nine finger numbers on the board in front of them wins the round!
It’s an exciting and effective way to build rock-solid finger number confidence this holiday season!
