There are two times during the year that make a piano teacher’s head spin: the weeks leading up to Christmas and the weeks leading up to the end of the school year.
And of those two times, the weeks leading up to Christmas are the busiest of them all!
I have always been able to handle the end-of-year hustle and bustle because the rest of my life is usually pretty calm in May and June.
Not so with November and December.
In addition to everything the piano world throws at me during these months, I also have to squeeze in all of the preparations and family activities that accompany the holidays.
