Ledger Line BINGO In F Major And D Minor
Even intermediate students need a break from the bench. Sight reading and note recognition take focus, and sometimes, stepping away from the keys for a quick game can make all the difference.
Today’s printable pack includes two versions of the game. The first version reinforces ledger lines A, B, C, D, and E and the second version reinforces ledger lines F, G, A, B, and C.
Here’s How To Play:
- Roll a die.
- Find the corresponding note name in the list below the game board.
- Cross out one matching note on the game board.
- Keep rolling and marking notes until five in a row is achieved (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).
- The center square is FREE!
- Special Rules: If you roll a 6, roll again. If all notes that match the note name have already been crossed out, roll again.
This quick and interactive game is perfect for a lesson warm-up, a mid-lesson break, or independent practice. It keeps students engaged while giving them repeated exposure to important ledger line notes they will encounter when playing in F major and D minor—so when they return to the bench, they’ll read with confidence and play with ease.
