How To Play Forte Feast
This interactive piano dynamics activity ensures that students remain engaged while learning. Integrating “Forte Feast” into your lessons is easy and rewarding. Instructions:
- Roll a die.
- Locate the dynamic symbol that matches the number rolled.
- Write this dynamic symbol in the first box below the letter A.
- Roll the die again.
- Locate the dynamic symbol that matches the number rolled.
- Write this dynamic symbol in the first box below the letter B.
- Finally, in the first box below the crocodile, circle the crocodile mouth (greater than/less than symbol) that is opening toward the dynamic symbol representing the loudest sound. Note: If it is the same dynamic symbol on both sides, draw an X through the box.
- Repeat Steps 1 – 7 five more times.
